Meet our Peer Support Team
Our GMOTFW Peer support Service is a FREE service available to parents who may be living with a low level mental illness, or who feel isolated after the birth of your child, or who may not have the confidence to take part in community or social meets. Our Peer Support workers are friendly, non judgemental and are on hand to help you feel more comfortable to escape your four walls.
Hello, my name is Clair.
I have been an ambassador for Get Me Out The Four Walls for 3 years. I have now been given the opportunity to work as the charity’s peer support worker.
For those who don’t know me, I am a single mum of two. I have lived experience of low mental health, and was diagnosed with Complex PTSD and Depression, after the birth of my first child. This led to me spending 6 months in the MBU. 4 years on, I am now in a good place mentally, and have been able to use my past to help support others.
I have 3 years of experience as a peer support worker, and a level 3 NVQ in advice & guidance. I really do enjoy supporting others, and hope that I can now help you and your family on your beautiful journey.
If you are in crisis or require further support, please do see the below services which can provide help and support.
Hello, my name is Charlotte.
I have been a volunteer for the charity for over 4 years and as of 2025 has become staff in the role of peer support. I am so passionate to help others just as I was helped when having my children. As a peer support worker I sees clients in person, over the phone or Teams and help support families visit our Norwich Hub.
