As a volunteer for Get Me Out The Four Walls, you may be exposed to confidential information, which may not be readily available to other charitable organisations or the general public and which if disclosed will be liable to cause significant harm to the organisation and its charitable interests.

Such information should not be disclosed to people outside of the Charity.

When someone gives us any confidential information, they need to be sure that we will not pass this on to anyone else without their prior permission.

The only exception to this is if you have been party to any information which raises a concern to you, such as a safeguarding matter. In this case, you will be expected to share this with the nominated safeguarding person for Get Me Out The Four Walls – Lucinda Terry (admin@getmeout.org.uk).

You must not during or after your time as a Volunteer, reveal to any person, firm, company, or organisation or otherwise make use of any of the trade secrets, secret or confidential operations, processes or dealings or any information (other than that within the public domain) concerning the organisation, business, finances, transactions, or affairs of the organisation (including but without limitation the identity of donors) which may come to your knowledge during your time as a Volunteer. Nothing in this clause will prevent you from disclosing information to comply with a Court Order or from complying with any statutory obligation on you to disclose information or from making a protected disclosure under the Public Interest Disclosure Act 1998.

I agree that I will never disclose such confidential information to anyone outside of the Charity, subject to the exception outlined above.
I also agree to respect the intellectual property of Get Me Out The Four Walls and not to pass on any Get Me Out The Four Walls forms or documentation I may use in the course of volunteering for Get Me Out The Four Walls to anyone outside of the Charity.
I understand breaches of this agreement could result in termination of my volunteering role with the Charity.
